Lara Krupicka has been pampering others with homemade gifts for over 20 years, five of them as part of the "pampering team" of GEMS (Godly Encouragement for Moms) in Naperville, Illinois . Her writing has appeared in Chicago Parent, the Naperville Sun and the Chicago Tribune. She has also written dramas for church services and a full-length mystery play that was staged in 2001. This is her first book.

 Lara is also a Toastmasters International Competent Communicator and a graduate of Proverbs 31 Ministries' She Speaks conference for speakers and writers.  Lara resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband and three daughters. Her hobbies include sewing, scrapbooking and an occasional round of disc golf with her husband.
